Ethercalc - which may suffer from same bugs, but seems to have fixed or changed quite a bit (e.g. localization, search)

There is no socialcalc code in ethercalc. Ethercalc imports socialcalc from marcelklehr/socialcalc

Yes the duplicated code is less than ideal. Pull requests welcome.
