iOracle

The iOracle project seeks to model the iOS access control architecture as a collection of Prolog facts such that researchers or Apple developers can ask questions about the architecture and get rapid responses.

Literature

Here is a link to our papers on iOS. The iOS Access Control Demystified paper should be very helpful for anyone working on iOracle. Please do not share these papers, unless you are sure they have already been published.

I recommend keeping the following books handy while doing iOS reverse engineering:

  • The iOS Hacker's Handbook
  • *OS Internals Volume III
  • Max OS X and iOS Internals To the Apple's Core
  • Mac OS X Internals
  • The IDA Pro Book
