Current layer count half of actual layer count, total still accurate

What happened?

The current layer count shows half the number of the correct count (from what i can tell). But the final total is still correct.
Layer count in mainsail: 500/2000
Real layer count: 1000/2000

What did you expect to happen instead?

I would expect the layer count to be accurate. Is there factor somewhere i can adjust?
