Our research targets the gap between the brain and AI.

With advances in computer science, we target the grand challenge of reducing the gap between natural and artificial intelligence: First, with investigations how bottom-up visual computing methods can support brain connectivity analysis, and second, exploring how top-down studies of machine perception can increase our understanding of computational models across domains.
