As an organization with an existing authentication system, it would be nice to be able to use JWTs obtained through OIDC to authenticate to the API/frontend.

Thanks for the suggestion! This is definitely something I would like to target. I'll try to see if it can fit into a milestone for this year as I resume development post-pandemic hiatus. Is there a particular auth provider you are looking to integrate with?

We're using keycloak for our auth system, but any OIDC-compliant IDP will provide an auth and id token that can be used.
