Just recording this here today. Was helping a user to register a new account and watched their (Firefox) screen as I did so. Two problems came up, and I've no idea why.

  1. The registration form refused to accept their userid as valid.
  2. The submit button then complained about a ReCaptcha failure.

Eventually I got them registered but only because they used Safari instead. Raising this for further investigation. Note that the problem was with the ZTF (lasair4) code, but I suspect it's also a problem for the LSST code.

Just tested with Firefox 127.0.1 on lasair-lsst-dev and it worked OK for me.

Also unable to reproduce on lasair-ztf with the same browser.

Can we find out the browser version, OS, what extensions were installed, if any, and what the userid is?
