Currently we're just using the configuration for core-project-message that ships with recommended project but we could use this to provide helpful information to developers. E.g. the command to install the installation profile, a link to the docs, etc.

It's pretty straightforward to config, see the existing drupal-core-project-message key withing extra.

I wonder what messages we should display in what circumstances.

Hey @j4-m, we're just reviewing issues to close off old stale issues where possible.
