So I am playing with a scene where I am using the 3d model loader extension + multi-controlnet in A1111 to place a specific prop into an image. I am using 3 controlnets for it, one that loads a face that I trimmed out of a photo of my fiancé using softedge-hedsafe to try to force the look of the character, the second is a pose that I scaled and placed in GIMP to line up with the head cutout, and the third is the prop image that comes from the model loader. I am experimenting with methods of bringing it into the image, but I am struggling with the layering.
It occurs to me that being able to either specify layering on controlnets or tie them to specific keywords in a prompt might be a powerful tool. I have run into situations in the past that would have benefitted from being able to link a specific control net to a specific keyword in my prompt, maybe even tying in with Regional Prompter so I can have a sketch that is placed properly in the controlnet frame to line up with where the Regional Prompter specifies. Idk. It would just be nice to be able to use it to place a specific prop and either mask it out with the brush tool in the controlnet or specify that something else is over it, because as it sits, you cannot use controlnets to design a both a background and a foreground controlnet. Even just being able to specify that something is back/mid/foreground would be a powerful enhancement.
