Consider allowing changes to table without starting a revision

Consider allowing changes to table without explicit starting a revision. This could be done by altering the table trigger function to create a revision for the current transaction if one is no active. On commit the revision ID would be cleared. An automatic revision message could be also be recorded.

[stale]

This issue has been automatically marked as stale as there has not been any activity for sometime. The issue will be closed in 14 days if no further activity.
