Resizing tiled applications not working properly

Bug description

When resizing tiled windows, if there is another app in the way it will stop resizing properly.

Steps to reproduce

Use shortcut to tile apps, place app (terminal) underneath one of the applications and try resizing.

Expected behavior

It should resize normally without breaking the tiling.

approved, with three apps open and tiled (upper left, lower left, right):
grabbing a border and resizing windows leads to broken tiling,
depending (unpredictable) on how you drag them.
Don't know keyboard shortcuts to resize with, so no approval on that.
