Not sure about the title but the issue is I have 4 GB of RAM but the installer created a SWAP partition of the size of 2 GB. There is no way to shrink a ZFS partition (in order to grow the SWAP one). This means I cannot use hibernation. The correct behavior would be to make the SWAP size between 100%-150% the size of the RAM.

@RDKRACZ Did you install LMDE (Debian Edition) or normal edition? This is the installer for LMDE, asking because the fancy zfs setup is by default included in the normal edition. ZFS loves RAM, I'd recommend doubling your RAM, if you need 4 GB for your normal use, then another 4 GB for ZFS will make it happy.
As for the swap size, you can increase it by using a swap file.
