"fan" timing out, turning on when turned off.

Had a very strange problem occuring today. Fan even though it's turned off just turns itself on automatically. When the fan is on the screen on the fan flickers and the blowing feature stops while the LCD still shows that it is blowing air every 30 sec over and over again.

As soon as i blocked the fan from network traffic all weird occurences stopped.

Don't know if its the plugin but it's the only "custom" thing i have connected to the fan apart from the original app.

Now that's interesting! I have a debugging tool called opendyson which may help figure out what's going on here. If you can use it to listen to MQTT messages on your fan while this weird behavior is happening, we can take a look at all the commands and status updates it processed.
