Integration path with ecowidgy frontent

Hey, I'm building a frontend for essentially this as part of the OpenClimate Collabathon. I'm working now on RPC calls (to airtable for now) and would love to get some insight into how you imagine this backend being used. If I understand correctly (not a Django dev) you're slicing out the data acquisition part of the puzzle. This is what my plugin must ultimately call to integrate the two. Let's use this issue to track API design. Alternatively, you could integrate with the airtable instead and we can use it as a proxy for a database or blockchain to be developed. Let me know which you prefer, I'm comfortable giving airtable keys to this project.
