Super happy user here of your custom integration for the Alfen Charger. I am looking to add a few automation use-cases (incl Solar Load Balancing feature from Alfen) from Home Assistant, however i dont see any options to authorize charging.

I dont want to set my charger to Plug and Charge, so RFID is the only other mode. I am using a local whitelisted card and removed all access for a back office system.

Do you see any options to authorize charging when Charge Plugged in - Awaiting Authorization?

Using a charging pass or key fob (RFID) is not always required to start charging. Charging can also be initiated in the following ways:

  • Automatic start by connecting the cable to the car (Plug & Charge authorization). For more details, see: "How do I convert a charging station to a Plug & Charge authorisation?"

  • Starting remotely via the back office (Remote). Most back-office systems provide the option to start or stop a transaction remotely. For assistance, please contact your back-office provider.

  • Using a mobile application. Some Charge Point Operators, like Fastned or Allego, offer apps that allow you to start charging. However, these apps may not always be compatible with public charge points.

I basically dont have a back office and SIM in my charger (anymore). Is it still possible to spoof this remote authorization like supported when you do have back office setup?
