Hi,
First of all, I have to say, great work, I've tried to reverse engineer SofiaServer, and it is a mess there.
This is less an issue but more a question - what android devices will MCUd work with? Is it any FYT/SYU variant? Or there might be different MCU's?

FYT with Intel. Judging by the contents of sofiaserver, its pretty clear that their terrifying heap of shit code is mostly legacy crap and a legacy method of building a car radio that originated with wince. Not nearly enough imagination amongst all their "engineers" to start over and do it correctly. I strongly suspect that it wouldn't be too big of a job to adapt this to newer FYT, which likely just adds even more bloat onto the same steaming pile.

Also note that I have not updated this project in a VERY long time, and won't be revisiting it ever (I have salvaged all reusable components -- metal box, LCD, digitizer -- from all my chinese car radios, and smashed the remainder with a sledge hammer). This project is dead, feel free to fork and good luck!

Check out this project for something that is actually worth working on;

Cool, looks like you're cooking something interesting there!
I've been playing with reverse camera on a Joying variant and got to these:

No OBD/CAM was used here, only analog video feed and optimized it up to to ~15fps on CPU with Intel Sofia 3GR.

Could be nice to see it integrated into head units massively.

That sums up what I really want to do with them. I owned 3 and every single one of them had a different important area which was bugged so bad my ears were steaming. Now they are selling these with 8GB of RAM and $900, um no put a fake sale on it, $400 but can't figure out the basics like NOT LYING about Android version. 🤣
