I think this might be flakiness of S3. 🤔

I didn't notice that it was long when working on the PR and indeed it wasn't given all the stuff that's happening in this notebook.

We can consider a smaller example dataset.
One idea I had was to use this new mouse liver SpatialData example dataset, and for the AnnData and imaging examples, just extract those elements from the SpatialData object and write them out to those formats (h5ad, adata-zarr, ome-zarr, ome-tiff)

I'm still running into issues where the notebook runs a very long time or even the CI times out. S3 can't be that flaky, can it? Are we pinging another endpoint that might have issues?

No, it should just be S3 and minimal database interactions.

Then let's follow through with what @keller-mark suggests.
