Standalone FirmataScope won't run on fresh install of windows 7 64bit #5

Hi,
Firmata won't start on my PC, which was installed in the last 40 days. Windows 7 64bit. No screen would show up after launch.
It does run fine on an older computer of mine. (both 32bit & 64bit work)

Might have something to do with Java 8 vs Java 7? or a windows fix? or is there any related software that must be installed in order for it to run?

Do you have the latest JDK & JRE? The firmatascope example is a processing sketch; have you installed this?
