Sad news – but understandable. Thanks for your reply, @kloener – I've marked it accordingly in my repo (change goes online with the next sync, i.e. at latest in ~22h).

I would be happy if I could take over the maintenance.I would at least publish regular updates on f-droid.

If it is difficult under the current name, which I could understand, I would possibly also release a fork under a different name.

I would submit an RFP to F-Droid to include https://github.com/morckx/visor-android but that repo doesn't even seem to have issues enabled?
