Here are some things I liked about your poster:

  • I really enjoyed your poster! Your visualizations were very impressive, your project interesting, and your way of tackling your research question was compelling. Your text to word ratio was pretty ideal for me. Your abstract was really the most verbose that you ever get in the entire poster and much of this was needed.
  • Your tables are really good. You clearly put effort into matching color palettes and this was a nice touch. The specification of your model in the "identifying home address" block was very solid and informative. More on this block, I thought it was really nice that you use a specific picture from Google Maps to help explain your model.

Some critiques I had:

  • Your abstract and objectives sections are very helpful in outlining the direction you are taking for your project, but I had a bit of trouble connecting this to your theoretical goals, or even your reason for being interested in this. Put more succinctly - the "so what?" question was not sufficiently answered for me. I think that further grounding in the literature in place of the Objectives section would have been helpful.
  • In terms of poster design, I thought there could have been more contrast between the sections and the background of the poster - the white on white wasn't ideal.

@nicholskl Thanks for the suggestion! Yes, I should have removed the words about theoretical goals from the abstract...This is not an important part in this project and also difficult to be displayed in the poster!
