bug(windows): text output does not appear in the notepad when typing the "try + click 1" using the "IMSample" keyboard. #12850

Describe the bug

the "try æ" output does not appear in the Notepad app. Instead of "try 111" output appeared.

Reproduce the bug

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Installed the keyman-18.0.162-alpha build in Windows 10.
  2. Install the ‘IMSample’ keyboard as the system keyboard.
  3. Open the Notepad app.
  4. Change the keyboard from English to IMSample.
  5. Type "try" and then press the "Space" key.
  6. Type "a" and then click the "1" on the menu option.
    Actual Results: Here, the "try æ" output does not appear in the Notepad app. Instead of "try 111" output appeared.
