When typing on the android termux app, using any keyman keyboard, the backspace key has no effect. The predictive text menu changes place for the amount of times you have pressed the key.

Thank you for the bug report. This looks like a compatibility issue with Termux; most likely because Termux does not make it possible for the input method to manipulate the text store. We can consider a patch in a future version, if there is enough demand for this.
