Someday I'll break out the Mac setup/config stuff into its own webpage or something, but for now, here's a place to jot down random notes for things I learn.

  • Your bash hostname (\h) won't match the Computer Name in the Sharing syspref panel. To fix it: sudo scutil --set HostName whatever_name_goes_here
