I tried to run OTA updates on my fairphone 4 rooted with Magisk 25.2 (3 updates in the past months). It seems that all people where this occured use the module "Universal SafetyNet Fix".
First update was from A11 to A12, the two A12 updates.

  1. Deactivate Magisk by restoring originbal boot image
  2. Run OTA update
  3. Do not reboot until having restored Magisk to inactive slot
  4. Reboot will fail passing the bootloader page

The OTA should work with the instructions above, for other users it does.

Device model: Fairphone FP4
Android version: A12
ROM name/version: FPOS
