Welcome SIL Bridge. This is our first step

How to contribute

  1. Go to this link https://github.com/SamTharani/SIL-Bridge
  2. Click Fork button
  3. go to the git bash/ git shell
  4. clone the project using following commands

How to push you changes to forked repository

  1. SIL-Bridge> git add .
  2. SIL-Bridge> git commit -m "Your commit message"
  3. SIL-Bridge> git push
  • Do the Pull Request

How to get pull from original repository

*Assigns the original repository to a remote called "upstream"

  1. SIL-Bridge> git remote add upstream https://github.com/SamTharani/SIL-Bridge

*Fetches any new changes from the original repository

  1. SIL-Bridge> git fetch upstream

*Merges any changes fetched into your working files

  1. SIL-Bridge> git merge upstream/master
