Just googling a bit and found MaxCDN for opensource. Let's discuss it a bit and we can contact them. Meantime, let's keep finding who else can help. This is particularly useful for web fonts.

Also, using Github to (hot link and) load fonts everywhere would amount to abusing the service.

Few more CDN who are ready to sponsor open source projects.
