Kamran Badirov

Kamran Badirov

I'm Kamran, a dedicated and curious Backend Developer with over 2 years of hands-on experience in creating scalable and reliable software solutions. Having graduated with Honours in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, and minoring in Mathematics, my academic and professional journey has been a vibrant blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application in the realm of technology.

Throughout my PEY at IBM and Congero Technology, I've had the privilege of contributing to the development of high-performance systems, specializing in Python, Java, C++, and leveraging technologies such as Docker, AWS, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra. My role has not only been limited to development; I have actively engaged in designing architectural solutions that ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of the systems we build.

Beyond my industry experience, I have also contributed to the academic community as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, guiding students through the complexities of Algorithm Design, Analysis & Complexity, and Scalable Computing. This experience has honed my ability to break down complex concepts into understandable segments, a skill I bring into my professional endeavors to foster collaborative and productive team environments.

Beyond my technical and academic pursuits, I am also an avid team player outside of the professional sphere. As a proud member of the University College Dragon Boat Club, I contributed to our team's remarkable achievements, winning gold and bronze medals in the men's boat category at the Canadian National Dragon Boat Championships in 2022 and 2023, respectively. This experience has not only honed my ability to collaborate and thrive in team settings but also instilled in me the value of dedication, leadership, and the pursuit of excellence. It's a testament to my belief that success, whether in technology or in dragon boating, comes from the collective effort and passion of a committed team.

Whether you're a potential employer, a fellow developer, or just someone interested in technology, I invite you to explore my work and get in touch. Let's collaborate to create technology that not only solves problems but also opens new avenues for innovation and creativity.

Welcome, and I look forward to connecting with you.
