Hi,
somehow world news plugin does not work any longer. Entries text is partially scrambled, many live tv links don't work, some point to different channels than written.
Several deinstallation/reinstall attempts did not help, nor did deleting the world news live folder in .kodi/user_data/addon_data.
All other plugins work.

There is a new version out now but i don't think your issue with the text is coming form the plug-in. If you still see this problem post back with Kodi version.

Thanks for the reply!
Funny thing is, the problem appears on two laptops, kodi 15.2 installed on top of xubuntu15.10.
It even happens on a complete new .kodi subfolder, so probably has something to do with the underlying system...

I just installed kodi from launchpad on a different computer, installed world news plugin via the fusion installer, and it looks the same - scrambled text (partially). In BBC world news, the three stream that are there look

I'm seeing this as well.
Ubuntu 15.10, WWN 1.5.1, Kodi 15.2.

Start of news list is:

My list looks like this:
[My Custom Streams]

ABC News 24

Al Jazeera Arabic
Al Jazeera English
antena3.
etc.
So there are different letters instead of the original entries. Could that point to an encoding issue?

I tried different LANG=, LC_ALL etc. settings, but they didn't help.

Seems that both of you are running it on top of Ubuntu 15.10.
I'll need to install and test it on the new Ubuntu version.

Thank you, and thank you for a great plugin, by the way.
Please tell me what I can do to help diagnose or test.

@nikolajsheller If you can dump a log in xbmc when starting WNL that could help.

For me, the problem is now gone on Yarvis (Kodi 16).
The plugin just works now :)
