Why dont you use the timestamp from the frame for calculating the latency ? #10

Instead of calling gettimeofday when you detect your package you can just take the frame timestamp that the kernel timestamp it.

This will give much better precision of when the package was out/in into the network stack.

if you want this I can submit a pull request.
