Hello!

WP2DB works well on multiple installations, but in one of them (a network-installation) after sucessful backup, the log keeps saying things like this:

05:03:39: There has been no backup activity for a long time. Attempting to resume the backup.
05:03:39: There has been no backup activity for a long time. Attempting to resume the backup.

This goes on the whole day. The next night, the backup runs normally and the error messages resume right after completion. Every night.

Reauthorizing my dropbox doesn't help - and it sure it authorized, for if not the backup wouldn't work.

It's Version 1.6.

Thanks for help!

I am looking into this.

V1.5.5 with WP 3.5 (maybe).

I get something very similar. It might be more properly categorized as Weirdness.

I started a backup YESTERDAY and it has not concluded. It times out as noted and has sat at 99% done for about 4 hours. This was run as an 'on-demand' backup instead of scheduled. I see periodic bits of feverish activity in DropBox then nothing for some time, then another eruption, then nothing, etc. etc. My website has a grand total of about 4 pages. Shouldn't this conclude in perhaps 90 seconds, max? I do have a number of plugins installed, although they are all in use and not just sitting around.

There are no indicators in the log of any issue. Just this ponderously slow process in on-demand mode. I have to confess I have no clue if the scheduled ones took so long since they just appear to have executed and completed AFAICT.

I am waiting for it to conclude so I can upgrade.
