Current Behavior

The name of the subtitle while using addons do not auto-scroll. The source name of the addon from the left list is working fine.
I have also recorded a video HERE

Expected Behavior

The subtitle full name should be visible in some way

Steps To Reproduce

1 Have any subtitle addon (a4k, opensub etc)
2 Go to any video media and play it
3 Go to Download subtitles
4 Select your addon as source and hover over a listed subtitle

Are you sure this is not related to the subtitle addon you're using?

I'm using a4kSubtitles and the titles use 2 lines and they also autoscroll.

I may have found one more difference after your comment
On a 4k screen (my tv) the names are displaying correctly, on a 1080p monitor the names are like in my picture.
So that may be it? I only have a 1080 monitor on my pc (from the picture) so i can't test it on a bigger 1080 tv.

EDIT.
It may have something to do with the sub addons -ish as a4k uses 2 rows for the description
image

now i really need to check on other skins if the first 2 subs have longer names.

Edit after the check on other skin

Installed Estuary mod v2 and all sub names from the other addons are scrolling, also those subs from a4k had their full names displayed so there was no need for scrolling to occur.

Kodi issue with textbox controls.

As these are textboxes (not labels), they scroll vertically (not horizontally).

The problem is that these filenames of your subtitles have no spaces where Kodi might break the line. As a result, the filename spills past the bound of the textbox.

It doesn't scroll because there's only one line (there would need to be 3 or more lines to scroll).

There is no way to force Kodi to break the line, and using a label control is not ideal as it removes the ability for double row text.

I have that issue too. I'm using opensubtitle.com addon. In the Arctic Zephyr the issue does not occur.
