Feature description

Would artwork for playlist widgets (specifically movie collections) be viable?

Why is this feature needed? Please justify and explain.

Not needed but having blank ‘posters’ for playlists is a bit dull. That said I don’t know of any skin that does this, so a big ask.

By "playlist widgets" do you mean a widget which displays a list of playlists (not the contents of a playlist, but the playlists themselves) ?

If so, no, not possible, but I do agree it would be nice if Kodi let you define an icon and fanart for smart playlists. It would need support built into Kodi for it though.

The only way you can sort of get close is to use something like Library Node Editor to make a library node filled with specific playlists. Then you can attach icons to each item in the node.
