Commenting on Notebooks

Notebooks are core to JupyterLab (and to Jupyter, and to IPython before it).

This feature allows for creating comments on Notebook elements such as code cells, lines of code in a cell, output, etc. The press release mentions these explicitly.

Is there any ETA for this feature, this is definitely a must have from my perspective.

The npm package will be updated by this Friday with commenting on notebook cells. The other features will be coming shortly after.
