Given the recent announcement that ADS will port completely to their new interface by late 2018 or early 2019, is there any plans to update this fantastic tool?

This was also asked here. In short, no, there are no present plans, but if and when there is a way to use the new API without a token/API key, I can start looking into it. Maybe some ADS devs will get involved...?
I noticed that arXiv started to point to new ADS lately, on the right-side banner. If you're thinking to upgrade the code for the new API, I may give a hand.
