Connecting to Oracle via JDBC is trivial (JVM + driver). Not your fault, but trying to install node-oracle is consistently unsuccesful for me, as I end up with indecipherable (to me) windows compiler errors. Getting the Microsoft compiler installed, properly working, etc. is pretty complicated.
Is there any alternative path? e.g., a pre-compiled binary for NodeJS windows x64 or x32?
