Hi,

what is the current state of makeing pymilter compatible with Python 3.x? I have seen latest changes are three years ago?

Can I help on making it compatible? I can not do the C-code stuff, but maybe help with the Python code itself, by adding the future statements/builtins and encode/decode stuff. Checking for imports and things. I find this library the most important for developing milters in Python.

I'm not the maintainer of pymilter. This is just a GitHub copy of the official CVS repository at https://sourceforge.net/projects/pymilter/, and I haven't updated the GitHub repo in a while.

Do you know, if there is some ongoing work concerning my topic? What is your position?

Your best bet to find out is emailing Stuart D. Gathman or joining Freenode's #pymilter IRC channel (irc.freenode.net).

Pymilter is on Github now: https://github.com/sdgathman/pymilter

It's had python3 support for awhile now.
