Currently I found out from the source code there's a workaround possible.
However, this would be confusing to anyone.

rsync({
    hostname: `rsync://${hostDetails.ip}`,
    destination: `${hostDetails.port}/volume`
})

// results in command:
// rsync -Rv file.txt rsync://0.0.0.0:000/volume
