Users should be able to individually configure how they want to receive reminders for their tasks.

There should be a global configuration that defines:

How soon before a task is due a user should receive an email.
x amount of days, or x amount % of time before the task is due.

Initially we'll only support email reminders.
Later options could also be sms, Slack or Discord

These emails will probably be sent out every day at night server time (4 AM?).
