On August 25th, 2021 I started the OSINTBuddy project. I never expected it to turn into what it has, I was and I suppose still am the type of character to just find joy from surfing the web, learning code tricks, learning about graphs, cryptography, security, and trying to find people who resonate with OG hacker values and democratic ideals. I stick to myself for the most part, I'm reserved, quiet IRL, and have lived a very difficult life.
Sometime in August/September 2024 I was hacked. I lost access to my domains, all my online accounts, my ex-roommate stole my laptop and harddrives+usbs with my password backups and tons of research and books I had stored away, (thanks anna). After the hack I hit my breaking point, in more ways than one as I also microfractured both of my elbows.
I will need some time to recover to say the least. Anyway, I doubt I'll stop working on this project anytime soon as I previously said in our discord. For now I need to focus on healing for a bit, doubling up on security (qubes-os+whonix style 😎 ), and maybe if Im lucky, raising funding to make sustaining this project a bit easier. ipsax will be my new main account moving forward and I'll be renaming the project to graphowls.com. The project will still likely be MIT (plugins) licensed but I think the marketplace will likely be proprietary, at least for a few years.

The code is not yet public, I was trying out the cathedral model but I think I prefer bazaar so once I get back to my main devices where I have the codebase I'll be releasing more often
yup! I'll be a okay, just need some time to recover and heal for a bit, thanks for the concern :)
