Photo Slideshow

Hello,
I'm not shur if is possible at the moment to start a photo slideshow over the android TV ap from a photo library.

On my android tablette with the standard android ap it is possible to start a photo slideshow with "play all" function. But, on my android TV (Nvisia Schield) isen't possible or i can't find the function.

We do have slideshow support! After opening a photo album you need to press the "play" button on your remote instead of the "ok" button. This will start a slideshow for the album currently open, starting with the selected photo.

It took me a while to figure this out and it's definitely something we should improve, so I'll keep this issue open for that.

Ok thank you very much Niels ... but my next problem is that the Nvidia Shield remote doesn't have a physical play button. I am looking for the workaround and will post it here.

I have found. Is a little bit tricky. For take the play or pause button on the old shield remote, you must take a double tap of the Volume Slider (Nvidia help)

I still like to keep this issue open because I believe we should improve this function and make it easier to start slideshows.

I use the Google TV remote on my phone and I have no way of starting the slideshow. The remote that came with TV also is similar to the soft keyboard. There is no play button!
