It might be fun to have an astrophysics inspired pattern generator. We can imagine a planet in the middle, and the options would choose the starting speed, position, and relative mass of an orbiting object. Then we just forward simulate for a while to make a pattern. We will have to give some hints to start the satellite somewhere so it will not just spin away. I know there are even more interesting patterns with two fixed mass bodies, and one satellite. I'm sure there is an interesting simulator out there with some hints.
