Hello Everyone, greetings from portugal.
I am new to this pwnagotchi thing but I am a tech&electronics enthusiast so I decided to buy the parts and build one using the latest Jayofelony's Image.
So far It only arrived the Raspberry Pi Zero 2Wh board, the screen should come in a few days (a waveshare e-paper 2.13" V4) along with the clock battery board. The UPS-Lite main battery will arrive in December.
So I recently finished the installation and configuration of the pwnagottchi, so far i can only see it in action via web browser while connected to it via Micro USB in the Serial port because of the internet sharing with the computer.
So far so good, despite it starts in Manu mode I can switch it to Auto mode and it works by consuming the nearby wifis.
Now some doubts.
-> Since this device is made to follow us like a pet, in order for it to learn, earn XP and grow, here comes my first question:
Is it mandatory to always have it connected to an internet hotspot along the path for it to work? Or it will continue doing its job and storing the captured handshakes and when it arrives home and self connects to home's internet it will grab all the offline stored stuff and will start doing all the internet related stuff (like submitting and decrypting the handshakes, etc) ?
-> Despite I have the show recent cracked wifi passwords plugin activated, is there any place where I can search and see all the so far stored wifi passwords either via SSH access or via web gui ?
-> At home when I disconnect the USB cable from the Serial/Config port and connect it to the power port I lost all the visibility to it, web gui, ssh, all (since I don't have yet the screen), probably because I don't have it set to connect to my internet wifi, how should I do set-it-up? By sending the "wpa-supplicant.conf" with my wifi settings into the boot of sdcard? like explained in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yn59qX-Td3E for basic raspberry pi OS ?
-> Hopefully the last, regarding the clock battery board that stores a small battery just to keep the clock running up-to-date when the main battery runs out of juice, I saw a few pictures in a DIY in the internet, I see several wires soldered from it into the back of the raspberry board but the pictures doesn't show that much and there's no written explanation there, I bought a "
AdaFruit PiRTC - PCF8523 Real Time Clock for Raspberry Pi" does anyone out there also added this little board in the pwnagotchi hardware setup that could shown me more about what needs to be done (soldered, etc) ?
