Make the Nav Bar permanent even on top #125

Hi, I want to make the following Nav Bar permanent:

Currently if I remove the top picture the Navbar becomes invisible even though it is there because of the white text:

Can you guide me to make the bar permanent on top, even in the 'About' section.
