May I inquire if it is feasible to preserve the folding and unfolding status of all nodes after executing the archive action in Obsidian?

I rely on Obsidian as my primary project management tool, where I organize numerous unnecessary or completed tasks within various folded sections.

However, when I initiate the archive action, it disrupts the folding status of all nodes, causing them to lose their previous arrangement. Is it possible to maintain the folding and unfolding status of nodes even after executing the archive action?

Hello, @camxcube,

I agree that this is a useful feature, especially for people who like big files with outlines. It may take some significant effort to implement, so I'm marking it as maybe for now.

If someone wants to pick this up, https://github.com/vslinko/obsidian-outliner/ already implements this, and it may serve as a reference implementation.

There would be one more happy person on earth in case this gets implemented.
