⚠️ Please check that this feature request hasn't been suggested before.

  • I searched previous Issues didn't find any similar feature requests.
  • I am only requesting a single feature. Multiple changes should be split into individual requests, with links between them.
  • I believe my requested feature will be generally applicable to other users, not just me: it is not uniquely tied to my personal workflow.

🔖 Feature description

Allow Daily Recurring Events option so we don't have to manually create new tasks / events in the future

✔️ Solution

Add a tick-box aside events, mark an event as recurring if we want that event to be recurring (daily weekly or monthly or yearly) (yearly recurring for birthdays)

❓ Alternatives

use other plugin like full calendar

📝 Additional Context

monthly view and yearly view would be more important than this feature

You can use the Tasks plugin for that.

You can use the Tasks plugin for that.

but from what I understand the recurring option in the Tasks plugin can only add new tasks to the file where the original task is stored. This means you cannot use it with a day planner since it won’t generate new entries under the new daily notes. Maybe I'm missing something here?
