Expected Behavior

I have underscores _ in embedded file links for a task ![[_]]. The file link should remain the same after drag-and-drop.

Current behaviour

Drag-and-drop messes up embedded file links. A backslash is added before each underscore, it becomes ![[\_]] and the links are all invalid.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Under Day Planner heading, manually create a task with a timeslot, and add embedded file links
  2. Create a later task using drag-and-drop. The embedded file link in the previous task is changed, with a backslash added

I have the same problem when I have tags with underscores. I had the same issue with underscores in a previous release but only if I had the "sort tasks in planner chronologically after edits", so my work around was to just not use that sorting option. Now however, as soon as I create a new task via the timeline, it adds the "" before any underscores in all of my other planner tasks, regardless of the "sort tasks" being toggled on or off.

I wanted to add that I experience this as well on both Windows and Linux (Debian Bookworm) and experience the same behavior as OP.
