So when you click on an empty area, you can create a new task/event and dragging up and down allows you to change the start time. Instead, could there be an option where the start time is fixed to wherever you clicked, and only the duration changes?
This is more intuitive for me and you can see an example of this in Google Calendar's week view. Generally, you are precise in wherever you click initially so having that as the fixed start time makes more sense. Thank you

That was quick! Thanks. This would close the issue as it's technically what I asked for but... ideally it would work like this (like in Google Calendar):
If you drag upwards, the end time is fixed
If you drag downwards, the start time is fixed
