Hi,

I am working on a project to keep a track of the bioacoustics in a tree canopy, its a fruiting tree with the total number unique of insects/ amphibians /birds/mammals reptiles exceeding 300

SSL (sound source localization module) is picking up every vocalization(and they appear as potentials on the odas visualization tool) but data is not logged for these, as the decision to track sources is made on the basis of top 4 sources when arranged descending order of energy level

I would like to add a filter which will trigger data logging for particular species that we are tracking, which may not be the loudest

This might mean some changes to the code. Is there anyone who can guide me about where in the code the logic for choosing which sounds to track is written?

PS: in a small field trial , all sounds of interest within the range desired, appear to flash on the display as dots in the correct direction . But many times nothing gets logged as they do not cross threshold for tracking. I want to put my own criteria
