There aren't a lot of options for interrogating or introspecting on the output records of a processor during a unit test. The best we have is

processor(:foo).given(record, record, ...).should emit(N).records

or

output = processor(:foo).given(record, record, ...).output
output.should ....
output.should ....

We should provide matchers which make it easy to

test the class of output record(s)
test properties of output record(s)
