ilo Token's own error messages are terrible and needs working, and so we borrowed functionality from telo misikeke. telo misikeke is an external tool for automatic spelling and grammar checking of toki pona texts. When this setting is turned on, ilo Token will use telo misikeke for error messages instead if possible.
Exactly what it says. When turned on, ilo Token will randomize output order.
ilo Token will by default display many different conjugations if possible. For nouns, they are singular and plural forms. For verbs, they are simple past, simple present, and simple future. This may clutter the output so alternative options exists:
- Condensed – This will condense different conjugations using parentheses or slashes like this: "food(s)", "leaf/leaves".
- Show singular only / Show present only – This will only display singular form or present tense if possible.
This allows X ala X constructions to be parsed as series of modifiers e.g. "pona ala pona" will be translated as "nicely not good" along with its usual translation "good or not good?". Such interpretation is rare but possible.
This is different from reduplication. To ilo Token, in "pona mute mute", "mute mute" counts as a single element, a reduplication, and will simply be translated as a reduplication in English like "very very good".
If this setting is enabled, repeated modifier can be considered separate so "pona mute mute" can be translated as "many 20 positive qualities". Although this specific translation is filtered out out due to different reason.
