I plan to add full descriptions of different types of matching rules and provide them in a future pull request.
I hope this is not controvertial (for example, integers should be compared as integers) but we need to make sure all edge cases are addressed.
If you are interested, the draft I will rewrite to fill in these sections is in the andrew-draper-verifier-processing branch
